February is Black History Month, and every year Networks Plus features an African American innovator in the realm of computers and web, whether far within history or more recent.
This year, our focus is on Window Snyder, a woman with a focus in Security both for devices and online. Her experience is robust, working with high profile companies — the main being the Head of Security of Mozilla (the company who brought you Firefox), Director of Security Architecture at @Stake (now owned by Symatec), Senior Security Strategist for Microsoft, and as of now working as Senior Security Product Manager at Apple.
She is the co-author of Threat Modeling, a manual for security architecture analysis in software which is now an industry standard.
